The position requires a diverse set of skills including excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal candidate will have an eye for detail and thrive in a fast paced, team focused environment.
Daily job duties work to inspire program support and build relationships that allow further the organization in meeting its fundraising goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Administrative Maintain the donor database, keeping organized and accurate records Process donations and prepare donor receipts in a timely manner Prepare and export donor reports from database Content Writing Prepare materials for direct mail campaigns Create mission focused content for newsletter, social media, and impact report Draft press releases and other correspondences Update content for donor template letters as needed Develop and submit grant proposals to foundations and corporations Comply with all grant reporting as required by foundation/corporate donors Perform prospect research on foundations and corporations Draft proposals, flyers, and other marketing materials for fund development Direct Fundraising Works to achieve outlined fundraising goals as directed by the fundraising plan Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward local clubs, churches, and businesses Secure sponsorships such as Team Builds, Faith Builds, and Project Adoptions Organize and execute fundraising events, including securing event sponsors Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Development Qualifications and Personal Attributes:

degree in related field or relevant work experience Excellent written and verbal communication skills is a MUST Strong computer skills; Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint Ability to organize and prioritize work while working independently Displays tact, diplomacy, and ability to work well with people Passionate about Habitat for Humanity's mission and core values Working Conditions:
Full time position primarily located in the Eustis office May be required to work occasional weekend or evening hours Must be able to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs Must have a valid driver's license qualify for Habitat vehicle insurance Job Type:
