3K a year 22 hours ago 22 hours ago 22 hours ago The Green Escape is a commercial houseplant retailer and we are currently hiring for the greenhouse and the packing warehouse.
All of our employees love plants and the person who will be a good fit for this position should enjoy being around plants as well! Your first half of the day will consist of working in the greenhouse where you will be selecting plants and making sure that they are up to quality.
The Green Escape offers over 750 different species of house plants that we grow, pack and ship to our customers! The second half of the day will consist of you taking those plants and packing them into boxes for shipping.
Ideal candidates will be eager to learn about how a commercial greenhouse operates and willing to move quickly in order to reach the days quota for plants that are going out.
Teamwork is very important for this job as we have an amazing crew who work very well together and were looking to add 2 more teamplayers who have strong communication skills and like working with others.
Pay for this position is $14 an hour and is increased to $15 at 6 months or sooner if performance warrants.
There is opportunity to move up within the company.
This is an independent contractor position.
