Eustis Metro Star Services is looking for a responsible, caring, and compassionate direct support professional (DSP) to join our growing team.
The ideal job candidate will be highly dependable and have a passion for helping those with physical/mental disabilities to live a more fulfilled and happy life.
Provide direct care services to the men and women who live in the Central Florida, including, but not limited to, training and assistance in activities of daily living (ADL) skills, independent living skills, community inclusion, productivity skills and recreational activities, with an emphasis on the individual desires and needs of each individual.
Responsibilities:
Identify, report, document and provide individual protection in the event of an occurrence, reportable or serious reportable incident or allegation of abuse.
Uphold and protect the rights of all individuals.
Maintain health and safety of all individuals.
Assist individuals with ADL skills and social skills.
Implement individual goals.
Foster a person-centered atmosphere conductive to the growth and development of individuals.
Assist individuals in food shopping, preparing meals or cook meals that would meet the individual dietary needs.
Assist individuals with personal grooming and hygiene.
Communicate with staff and management.
Must have at minimum a high school diploma, pass a level 2 background check and obtain a local background check from the county you reside in.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
