Production Operators control production machinery, ensuring adherence to daily and weekly plans.
Responsibilities include setup, monitoring, and maintenance of equipment.
Looking for someone with previous production work experience.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent Must be able to work overtime and up to 12 hour shifts Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 75lbs One year of related experience Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and make decisions Working knowledge of FDA, Food and Plant Safety, HACCP protocols, GMPs, and SOPs Relevant knowledge of equipment, processes, and production capabilities Experience with ERP/MES/MRP/Shop Manufacturing Systems a plus SKILLS, TRAITS, & COMPETENCIES:
Ability to follow directions and work in a team Interpretation of engineering designs and documentation Quick learning of production equipment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Understanding and adherence to OSHA and environmental regulations Fork Life Certification is a plus! KEY DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Operate machinery as per prints and specifications Maintain production logs Assist supervisor in ensuring compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and SQF Ensure departmental safety compliance Conduct microbial analysis using sterile technique Monitor equipment and process control systems Perform minor troubleshooting and corrective actions Complete daily batch records and enter data into databases Seek guidance for unplanned deviations and follow instructions Complete lab procedures ensuring accuracy Clean and sterilize equipment and processing areas Execute R&D projects Perform housekeeping tasks Other duties as assigned PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Repetitive lifting 50 to 60 pounds Climbing stairs and ladders Prolonged standing, walking, bending, twisting, and kneeling Visual acuity for instructions, machine operation, and product inspection Ability to work in high-temperature environments Tolerance for prolonged heat Job Type:
